Ok, I know there are people on the site who don't like the eagles so feel free to pile on. I like them but kinda protested seeing them live because they charged 300.00 face value on the first tour to sit in the loge section. I thought I might rethink for the next tour but I saw a setlist that includes.....Sunset Grill, Boys of summer, You belong to the city and All she wants to do is dance. Are you f-in kidding me? By no means is the show made up of all solo material but who the hell wants to hear that. They have so much material over the years they could perform. I'm not shelling out big bucks for a "heat is On' encore.

if Walsh still sings "I Like Big Tits" then I'll throw my two nipples in the pit.

Thank God that those Grateful Dead tours are over. Those damned ticket brokers would be ripping you off like crazy with their inflated prices. They even managed to hack into the TicketMaster system and the Colorado Rockies play-offs too. Some parents paid thousands of dollars; so their little girls could see that "HGanna Montana" show.

Bob Dylan played the Santa Cruz civic auditorium in 2000. Less than 40 tickets were sold to local residents according to the promoters. Internet sales are very profitable for these greedy capitalist pig thieves who worship the $$$...

I am in total agreeance with you. I saw them back in '93 on the hell freezes over tour and the tickets were out of line back then also. I think they were about $100.00 apiece. This was when tix were normally around $25.00-$30.00. Henley and Frey played their weak solo material then also.
I think it's just ego. They do have plenty of great Eagles tunes to play.
But for some reason I didn't mind when Joe Walsh played his solo stuff. Probably because Life's Been Good kicks the living crap out of All She Wants To Do is Dance and Smuggler's Blues. Just my opinion though.

Joe Walsh has turned out some pretty good stuff in his time - But Seriously Folks has always been one of my favourite albums. It was a bit of a puzzle and a sadness to me that he ended being a sideman for the Egos.

I'd have no interest in seeing the Eagles play live these days. I really liked Desperado and On the Border, and I'll still listen to songs from those albums today, but after that they really started the slide into becoming Eagles Inc.

I must also say that the setlist I saw must have been from the last tour. Since they have the # 1 album out I'm assuming they'll milk another tour
